Based on the Improving MI Practices guidelines, I researched sources, compiled information, and asked questions to understand the content and the learning goals.

I evaluated the existing training for correctness and timeliness of information, usability, and perceived user interest. I found that updates to the format and design would encourage learners to interact with the content through they preferred methods of learning.

After understanding the research for each module and what content needed to be added, I crafted multimodal content with interactive elements, text, audio, visuals, and presentations. Additionally, I designed from an accessibility-first approach to create a user-friendly experience for all learners.

After collaborating with a subject matter expert to ask questions and receive feedback, I edited each module for clarity, correctness, and usability.

Hallie Kelly is the model horse artist behind Mitten Lake Studio. A lifelong collector, she decided to dabble in painting models and share her work online. Wanting to establish herself as an artist and create a recognizable and cohesive brand, I began helping her bring the vision to life. Mitten Lake Studio takes its inspiration from the state of Michigan and the Great Lakes, which is reflected in the logo and color scheme. Hallie continues to paint models and sell her work under the studio name and brand.
